01. 수제천
가장 대표적인 궁중음악 중 하나로 원래 명칭은 ‘정읍’이다.
19세기에 출궁악으로 연주되었던 곡이며, 현재는 처용무의 반주농악으로 또 순수기악합주음악으로 연주된다. 선율의 장중함과 긴장감, 연주장면의 화려함은 국내뿐만 아니라 외국 무대에서도 극찬을 받는 음악이다.

01. Sujecheon
Originally entitled “Jeongeup,” Sujecheon is one of the most representative pieces of court music. The melody has slow and erratic rhythms and progresses by harmony between performers, rhythmic patterns of janggu, and liaisons following piri. In the 19th century, it was performed when the king left his palace, but today it accompanies Cheoyongmu and is also performed on its own as an instrumental ensemble. The stateliness and intensity as well as the visual splendor of the piece have made it popular both at home and abroad.
