Description
This is a historic video of great significance to the Taino Resurgence. Early Taino Resurgence leaders of the TAINO NATIVE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION gather in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1992, for a Caney Indigenous Spiritual Circle FULL MOON CEREMONY celebration at the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center. Miguel Sobaoko Koromo Sague, then aged 41, leads the ceremony as Grandmother Naniki, Behike Edgar Konuk Rodriguez and Behike Domingo Turey Hernandez, Lenia Maisguariche Sague, and Stephanie Simmons, among others, participate. Naniki had brought with her a sacred 500-year-old stone semi three-point sculpture of Yocahu which Miguel identified as the "Mountain Semi" or "Hope Child" semi whose return to the people signaled the culmination of the 24 Generation Prophecy of global Reconciliation. It was at that point in 1992, that the twenty-year "katun" period leading up to to the Maya date 2012 of reconciliation between humanity and the Earth began.
