Albert Collins was a musician, guitarist and blues singer. He had many nicknames given by fans as "The Ice Man" ("Iceman") and "The Master of the Telecaster".
Born in Leona, Texas, Collins formed his first band in 1952, and two years later it was the main attraction at various clubs of Blues Houston, Texas. In the late 50s, he chose the Fender Telecaster as his equipment, and developed a unique style with tunings in smaller tones, sustained notes and attacked with the right fingers. He also frequently used a capo on his guitar, particularly in the 5th., 7th. and 9a. home
