For the past 2 weeks we’ve been processing what has happened to the people of Maui…. My heart aches to see the devastation from these fires & so many families displaced and lives lost…. I feel a deep sadness and sorrow in this time for our beloved maui community… as I know many around the world are feeling the same.
The best way that I have found to process grief is to channel it into creating music… music is such a powerful healer. I hope this song can support others in their healing journey from such a traumatic experience.
To see the spirit of aloha in action thru out Hawai’i as we rise up and support Maui right now is beautiful and is inspiring the world. This is the foundation that is being set for the rebuilding of Lahaina. Aloha is an energy like no other i’ve felt, it is unconditional and overflowing with love…. I have heard it said that Aloha can save the world and I truly believe that.
The Maui community is in a deep greiving time and it is important to honor this for healing to happen. The rebuilding process must be in alignment with the community of Lahaina…. NOT with the corporate & goverment agenda. We must rebuild with the community to keep these families on the Aina!

Let us continue sending love and healing prayers to the people of Maui who truly need it in this time & Let’s stay tuned into the needs of the community as we support their healing & rebuilding process…..lets live our lives rooted in aloha… all our communties will benefit from the aloha spirit.
