Description

Canary is a song that crosses over from beautiful bird, to my own mindset and emotions. It was written a couple of days after finding out my Mum's prognosis and in some way, gives a little insight into where my head was at.

Canaries were used in coal mines from the late 1800s to detect gases because they are more sensitive to small amounts of carbon monoxide than humans. The canary resuscitator was a more humane solution than allowing canaries to succumb to poisoning.
