The classic folk-ballad Clementine, musically updated and artistically visualized as a comic tale of unrequited love.

According to Wikipedia, "Oh My Darling, Clementine" is an American western folk ballad about a bereaved lover's loss of his darling, the daughter of a miner in the 1849 California Gold Rush. Her "tragic demise" is caused by a splinter in her toe that causes her to fall and drown as her young suitor watches in vain.

Author notes:
That is not the end of the tale though. The song eludes of the miner's suicide and nightmarish visions that haunt the young man years after her death. If Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees were personified in one body and wore a pink dress, Clementine would be it's name.
