Jazz master Sheila Jordan headlined a benefit concert for vocalist Paul Marinaro at Chicago's Jazz Showcase, on February 28, 2018. Produced by Celine Peterson, vocalist Rose Colella, and club owner Wayne Segal, the benefit was to help Paul after an emergency surgery in December 2017, which left him unable to work.
The audience was not aware that Paul was present and Ms. Jordan surprised them by calling him to the stage for an impromptu duet with her.

The two had first sung together at the 2017 Chicago Jazz Festival for an Ella Fitzgerald Centennial Concert. In July 2018, Paul returns to Birdland NYC for a birthday concert with Sheila as his special guest.
