I wrote Halifax Song one Sunday evening last summer. After a weekend away, I was driving back across the MacKay bridge as the sun went down, and it was the first time coming into the city felt like coming home. The Ardmore is one of my favorite spots in Halifax, and one of the places that helped foster that home-y feeling. It seemed like a great spot to film this video.
There's one line that I can't pin down and changes every time I play this song. That's the only thing I'd change. I had an absolute blast making this and I hope you enjoy watching it.
