This is my "go to" tune... So after painstakingly creating an environment in my upstairs studio conducive to recording this exact instrumentation, i.e. Rhodes, Fender Bass, and well, not Hammond, summer came and the military, and I can't get a vibe in that room anymore. Plus, it is full of RADAR from Fort Bragg, so electrical hobgoblins galore. So I quit working up there. Too much work trouble-shooting all the time. Then the heat came, so I quit programming in the garage on the new DX-7FD. So into the den it shifted, and tonight somehow it came to fruition the goal to record some Fender bass tracks with which to play along. Never had a bass player that wanted to play in my keyboard groups. The goal in the last few weeks was to get set up to overdub the A-100. So goal accomplished. It is in the track along with two other keyboard parts played live at the same time. The Macbook pro needs TWO audio interfaces to achieve stereo in a Quicktime video. It satisfied me anyway.
