Here is this year's entry for the Tiny Desk Contest. This is the first song I ever wrote some 10 years ago and I swore I'd never play it again, but it felt fitting this year. Lyrics below. Hope you enjoy!

I can't recall the last time that I spoke with you
But I do remember it being one-way
Maybe I should take a hint and leave it there
Or I could introduce myself again

I know I've not been the best student
I never even tried my best
But if you are the one who says where I am going
Well I should try to know you first

They say that I should look at the big picture
But I'm not so very good with cryptic clues
So Lord when I begin to open up to you
I'd like it if you would do so too

These times they won't take faith on face value
And I'm a modern man as is my mind
