Description
Joe Hall & The Continental Drift were an alternative music band, starting in the 1970's. Joe had offbeat, comic themes to his songs & elaborate orchestrations. Some liken him to Frank Zappa - I just thought they were great from the 1st time I saw them perform at the Festival of Friends in Hamilton, Canada around 1977. Had a couple of their LPs. Here's one of my favourites from the On The Avenue album. It's said that in recent years, Joe Hall lives in Peterborough, Ontario where he plays locally, does some acting, and paints.
