Tara's Mantra, from KD's new CD, "Kirtan Wallah," is his version of a classic Buddhist mantra to Tara, a deity embodying true compassion. Which was fitting for the chant-for-charity event at the Irvington, NY, Town Hall to benefit the Tibetan Home of Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides a loving home, sustenance, education and cultural teachings for nearly 150 Tibetan children who would otherwise be on the street.
