Description
Only the Young, the song made famous by Journey, was actually first recorded and produced by Scandal, with Patty Smyth singing the vocals. What's been done here in this video is that the Journey OST track from 1985 has been replaced by this one which came out the previous year. A curious case where the band that wrote the song (Journey) found themselves in this position of making a 'cover' of their own song.
This movie stars Matthew Modine and Linda Fiorentino, with Madonna in her first film appearance.

The song has been SHORTENED, to fit the length of the visuals. Alternatively, I obviously could have stretched the video to fit the full 4m26s audio track. I decided to not match them that way. The Scandal outro felt overly repetitive to me, so clipping it seemed to be the better fix.
