One interesting thing happened while recording this song was, during the second stanza, Asha ji started singing in between Kishore da's line and quickly stopped as she realized, then asked Kishore da to record it again for her mistake, but Kishore da told her not to worry as he was the hero in this song and put his hand on Heroine Chand Usmani ji's mouth during picturization. He was indeed a genius and always will rule our hearts
