Pat Best wrote this song in 1953 for his group, The Four Tunes. Released in 1954, it spent 15 weeks on the chart peaking at # 8. June Valli also released a version that year and it reached #13. In 1961, The G-Clefs released their version and it peaked at #9. They had a hit with the song K-Ding Dong in 1956, but nothing in between. This was also their last hit.
