I am astonished how many denominations avoid teaching that there is a future tribulation period coming on this earth and that there is a Rapture of the true believer in Christ! Matthew 24:6-8 & others below.

They ignore 1st Thessalonians 5:9 that shows that the church is not destined for God’s wrath but insist that believers will go through some judgment of God that is destined for Israel or Jacob’s unfulfilled prophesy.

Many also get confused between the 2nd coming and the rapture and say they are the same thing.

The Wrath of God and persecution have different meanings.

The Wrath of God is judgment from God for sin and those who do not believe in the Son, who do not receive Him as Savior will be judged on the day of wrath (Romans 2:5–6).

Persecution is not from God but from the one who influences the world system. 2 Timothy 3:12. Satan is also called the "prince of the power of the air" in Ephesians 2:2.

The rapture is described primarily in 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50–54. God will resurrect all believers who have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with all living believers, who will also be given glorified bodies at that time.
